відкритий у травні 2021 року Юлею Ферштейн. а задуманий ще десятьма роками раніше, протягом яких Юлія, працюючи майстринею у Києві, мріяла про власний простір, який уособить її бачення краси та стилю.

the name [Kimera] is inspired by the Chimera, a creature from ancient Greek mythology that does not fit into any clear category or image. Chimera is a symbol of constant transformation, self-discovery and harmony of inner state and external manifestations.
chimerical = beautiful. it can look fragile or eye-catching, be simplistic or completely destroy the existing visual patterns. this is the beauty that takes origin in your worldview and turns into external changes in Kimera.
Kimera is a beauty space for city residents
opened in May 2021 by Yulia Fershtein, it was imagined ten years earlier, during which Yulia, while working as a hairdresser in Kyiv, dreamed of her own space that would embody her vision of beauty and style.

we have a sunny terrace and a relaxation area with a selection of fashion magazines for inspiration from the owner of Kimera - Julia Fershtein, a soft bar with coffee and matcha and a shop where you will find our favorite professional products for body and hair care, jewelry, wellness goods, sportswear and aromatic products to create coziness at home. Kimera store also has colored hair extensions and nail tips from our beauty specialists - you can try them on and purchase or order an individual design.
for those who find time for themselves during the work week, we have wi-fi and a place where you can work before and after your appointment at Kimera.
creating beauty with you
Kimera is open to creative cooperation with brands and creators for photo and video shoots.
we offer hairstyles/make-up/manicure for models, art direction and styling, and recreating looks based on references. Kimera’s beauty specialists can either come to your shoot location or use our space for preparations.

Kimera is pet-friendly, and we welcome furry guests in Kimera store, but only humans for beauty treatments (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

all beauty specialists at Kimera are professionals, but each has their own creative style and special skills.
for radical transformations, complex shapes, and elegant lines, we advise you to choose senior hairdressers - they'll help you create a hairstyle that will suit the shape of your face and head and reflect your style.
it's the design complexity:
cat 1 – simple patterns: lines/dots/french/etc
cat 2 – complex designs, painting, 3D and decorative elements
it is essential to consult with your hairdresser to ensure you get safe, high-quality coloring. they will evaluate the condition/density/length of the hair, discuss the desired color with you, and estimate the cost of the service. if needed, do a test dyeing or an allergy test.
an offline consultation lasts up to 20 minutes, and we recommend it if you're visiting Kimera for the first time and/or plan to have a complex coloring/re-coloring
if you cannot come to an offline consultation, we will conduct it via Instagram DMs. for that, we'll ask you to send high-quality photos of your hair and references for the desired hair color.
